Land Acknowledgement

I respectfully acknowledge that the land on which I live and work is in ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (Amiskwacîwâskahikan), Treaty Six Territory. I honour and respect the rich culture and history of the ᓀᐦᐃᔭᐤ ᐊᐢᑭᕀ Nêhiyaw-Askiy (Plains Cree), Ĩyãħé Nakón mąkóce (Stoney Nakoda), Niitsítpiis-stahkoii ᖹᐟᒧᐧᐨᑯᐧ ᓴᐦᖾᐟ (Blackfoot / Niitsítapi ᖹᐟᒧᐧᒣᑯ), Tsuut’ina, Michif Piyii (Métis), and Cree.

As part of my commitment to reconciliation, I read the Truth and Reconciliation Reports, contribute a portion of all profits to support Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society, seek out Indigenous voices, and am working to minimize my environmental footprint and harm to Mother Nature.
