You’re a leader who wants to make a difference without burning out

And you need some support to:

  • Feel grounded and clear headed, even during busy times and challenging situations.

  • Build an inclusive team that is engaged and effective because they have a true sense of belonging.

  • Access your intuition, creativity, and joy more easily.

  • Develop a grounded leadership presence.

  • Have confidence in your approach and unique leadership style.

  • Stay steady as you challenge the status quo and navigate ongoing uncertainty and change.

Traditional approaches to leadership coaching and development are selling you short.

Most focus solely on head-based questions and they haven’t kept pace with emerging science about the mind-body connection. Many don’t recognize how systemic biases are woven into our workplaces and they don’t offer a trauma-informed approach.

It can be so frustrating when you recognize your limitations and are ready for support — only to struggle to find a leadership coach that feels like a good fit.

Plus, many leadership coaching programs come at a premium cost and are simply out of reach for many emerging leaders who have a tonne of potential.

What’s missing is a wholistic approach.

Leadership coaching needs to honour the whole person - head, heart, and body.

They need to go beyond ‘what to say’ and help you recognize the intention and energy you are bringing to the interaction. They need to recognize the power dynamics of hierarchical relationships and systemic oppression, and the impact stressors have on all areas of our life. And they need to be accessibly priced.

I take all of this into account in my Leadership Ecosystem approach so you can feel the change within yourself and see the impact on your team.

Growing as a leader and building resilience is possible.

Fostering your strengths as a leader means you can increase the impact you can have with less effort.

Building your internal resilience while reducing your external stressors means you and your team will have access to more creativity and connection.

Building on your strengths, growing your capacity, and creating a new way of feeling and being is all part of my approach.

Here’s what one-on-one coaching with me looks like

These are the most common topics that clients bring to our coaching calls:

Values & Vision - clarify who you are and your unique approach to leadership

Presence & Confidence - feel grounded and confident in yourself and your capacity

Goals & Planning - get clarity about what you want and how you might get there

Consent & Boundaries - align your words, actions, and energetic presence and fully embody your “Yes”, “No”, and “Maybe”

Giving and Receiving Feedback - offer feedback with kindness and clarity, and receive it gracefully

Stress & Anxiety - understand how stress is impacting you, what you can do about it, and work to reduce the stressors in your life

Communication - use language more intentionally to make clear requests and offers, respond to others, and prevent (or resolve) conflicts

Time Management & Prioritization - shift your relationship with time and productivity

Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion - exploring your unconscious biases and building habits of conscious inclusion

The Logistics of Working Together

Coaching Sessions

Two, 1-hour conversations via Zoom per month.

Personal Development Plan

Together, we’ll craft a unique detailed personal development plan that includes:

  • Building Awareness: Exploring your own habits and collecting feedback from others when it is helpful and supportive.

  • Intentional Practices: Creating the practices that will support your goals and work to sustainably integrate them into your own leadership ecosystem.

  • Outward Action: Identifying the actions you can take in relationship to others and your environment as part of your vision and goals.

Leadership Curriculum

I’ve been creating and facilitating workshops for leaders for almost a decade.

We won’t follow a predefined curriculum, but we can always draw on any of those theories, frameworks, and activities whenever it might be supportive.

Unlimited Email Support

You are invited to access unlimited email support as much or as little as you like.

You can send daily updates as a way to honor the commitments you make or you can reach out to celebrate the application of a new skill or when a challenge arises and some additional encouragement and support would be helpful.

On-The-Spot Coaching for Emergencies

We can jump on a quick, 30-minute call to troubleshoot a specific issue if you need some emergency support in between our twice-monthly sessions.

Minimum Commitment of 3 months

Our work together is about growing new habits and cultivating skills that last and will make lasting change, and that can take time. For that reason, I ask you to make a minimum initial commitment of 3 months.

The Investment

I worked with Amy and was coached by her too. Her ability to read my body language and take time to question and listen led to deeper sharing on my part. She is able to cut to the chase and support clients to move forward with clarity and focus. Her actions are consistently aligned with her passion for people, community and our planet.

~ Sharon Schooler, Learning & Development Leader

Amy is amazing. She was very accessible and easy to connect with. I felt respected and we really clicked. She is assertive and good at keeping us on track and providing a clear structure that was easy to follow and worked perfectly for me.

Let’s make sure we’re a fit.

To be honest, there are a lot of great coaches out there, but not every coach is the right fit for each client.

It’s worthwhile to pause for a moment and test for fit first to help make sure our coach-client partnership will get you the results you seek and offer you the experience you crave.

Here are a few things that I think are unique about my approach to coaching.

I believe…

  • Growing as a leader includes both inner work (including getting curious about our values, thoughts, and beliefs) and outer work (creating new habits and ways of being with others).

  • Our brains AND our bodies can be important sources of information that can guide our leadership decisions.

  • Understanding how our bodies respond to stress and learning how to make skillful moves to support our nervous system is a key element of having leadership presence.

  • Leadership coaching should be accessible for leaders at all levels of an organization.

  • Making the transition from individual contributor to leader of others can be one of the trickiest and most challenging times in a career and is an underserved population.
